| Rosie Radiator Professional Tap Dancer Guinness World Champion Tap Dancer, Rosie Radiator is the best known female tap dancer performing in the world today. Her nightclub act “Rosie and the Radiators” and her three performing companies tour and perform throughout Northern California in top professional venues. As the founder of Tap Dance Day (1976) Rosie continues to produce San Francisco’s celebration of National Tap Dance Day, with Rosie’s Tap Jam at the Cannery on May 25th each year. She, and her tap team also perform the ‘Tour de Tap for clean air”(their 25th annual this year), each year to bring attention to the importance of taking public transportation to keep the air cleaner. Rosie’s studio, the San Francisco Tap Dance Center, is located within Developing Environments Artists community (since 1973) and trains tap teachers and adult tap dancers from throughout the world.
